This policy explains what information Heritage Care Partners collects when you use this website or get in touch, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and we keep it honest, in the same spirit as everything else we do.
Heritage Care Partners is a marketing company working with care homes, based in Bristol, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, you can reach us at hello@heritagecarepartners.com. For the purposes of data protection law, Heritage Care Partners is the data controller for the information described here.
When you complete our enquiry form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, your role, your care home's name, your email address, and optionally your phone number and any message you write. We only ask for what we need to reply to you properly.
When you browse the site, we collect a small amount of anonymous, aggregated information about visits (such as which pages are viewed) using privacy-friendly analytics. This does not identify you and does not use tracking cookies.
We use the details from your enquiry to respond to you, to understand how we might help your home, and, if we begin working together, to provide our services. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
When you send us an enquiry, we process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into any agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we make sure they do not override your rights.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business, and your information may pass through them purely so we can operate:
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Some of them are based outside the United Kingdom, and where that is the case we rely on appropriate safeguards for any transfer of information.
We run advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of the care homes we work with. This website does not currently place advertising or tracking cookies on your device. If that changes in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and, if relevant, to manage our working relationship. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we remove the details once they are no longer needed.
This website keeps cookies to a minimum. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless and anonymous. If in future we introduce cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, for example a Meta or Google measurement tool, we will show a consent banner and only set them once you agree. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
If you send us an enquiry, we will reply to it and, where relevant, follow up about working together. We will not add you to any marketing list or send you unrelated promotions without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to keep your information safe, and we only use trusted providers who are required to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but we work to reduce the risks and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.
We do not make decisions about you using automated processing or profiling. A real person reads and handles every enquiry.
This website and our services are intended for care homes and the adults responsible for choosing care. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Our site may link to other websites, such as social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their own policies.
Under data protection law you have the right to ask us to: give you a copy of the information we hold about you; correct anything that is wrong; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; provide it in a portable format; and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To make any of these requests, email hello@heritagecarepartners.com, and we will respond within the time the law allows, normally within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
